Moray East Offshore Wind Farm

After being involved with Smulders Group companies and people while working for Seaway Heavy Lifting during the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm project, for the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm project we were asked to join Smulders Group in order to act as a QC Assistant / Documentalist in order to, amongst other activities, ensure the final As Built documentation to be at the required level of quality to hand it over to client. As fabrication took place in Smulders Group companies in Belgium, France, Poland and the UK and about a third part of the scope was being fabricated in Spain (Cadiz and Seville) it has been a challenge to align all documentation from these different sites in a similar fashion.
