Laggan & Tormore

For about 2,5 years we’ve been involved with Total E & P’s Laggan & Tormore project for Allseas in Delft. Monitoring of fabrication activities on several locations in the Netherlands and at a later stage organising and managing a complete team of QC inspectors in South Shields at McNulty Offshore Construction Ltd. was our initial job. When MOCL had gone into administration and remaining fabrication activities were moved to Swan Hunter’s yard in Wallsend we ended up with the challenge to get all remaining outstanding As Built documentation from subcontractors MOCL had used. With some help on the commercial side of this, we indeed got the required information and documentation from these subcontractors (Francis Brown, Allerton Steel, WD Close, Barrier Offshore, MTL, MCPS, Pearson Engineering, Deepdale Engineering, etc.). Once fabrication had finished we were put in charge of getting all (project-wide) As Built documentation approved by Client. At a later stage an entire team was put in place to help issuing the finalised As Builts to Client, in the agreed format through official (Client-specific) channels.
