For Kentech, we performed QC Inspections and compilation of full Manufacturing Record Books for Shell’s refinery in Pernis. Usually working in Maintenance we did all kinds of smaller and larger jobs in Mechanical or Piping, working closely together with Shell Plant Inspectors in order to getting things done to Shell’s satisfaction. Materials used were various; carbon steel, stainless steel and Duplex materials and for all sorts of equipment like storage tanks, piping, etc. Working on an active (production-) plant like this makes one really realise what is like to (sometimes literally) work under pressure.
