In between and alongside projects we were working on for Allseas, we have been involved in several projects for Allseas’s largest vessel, Pioneering Spirit. Varying from Roller Boxes for its Stinger, from Steel Structures for X- and Y-Drive for the Lifting Beams, to Stabilisation Frames to be put on top of the Lifting Beams in order to keeping the Yoke Foundations (Lifting aids) in upright position. We performed QC management activities on the Allseas Fabrication yards then located in IJmuiden and Heusden, together with a team of QC Inspectors of around 15-20 in count. Fabrication Monitoring, as well as ensuring LR certification, as well as compiling high quality Manufacturing Record Books (As Builts) were all part of the team’s job.
